Within six months, the business survives a racially motivated attack that forces relocation.

New locations open and Miami Fades becomes a recognized grooming destination.

Dwight collaborates with surgeons on hair-loss solutions and introduces the first non-surgical Afro hair restoration services in Toronto (2017–2018).

Company exceeds 60,000 clients in its database.


Miami Fades sets some of the highest health & safety standards in Canada during the pandemic, becoming an industry example (2021).

Miami Fades enters the U.S. market, beginning with Tennessee and planning for Atlanta.

Dwight joins the Skilled Trades Ontario (STO) Advisory Council to help shape barbering as a regulated trade.

Relaunch of the Toronto Fade Master Academy under new standards — real-life model training, advanced techniques, and the exclusive sterilization system.
