Miami Fades was built on a simple belief: grooming isn’t a luxury, it’s a discipline, a standard, and a reflection of how you carry yourself.
Founded by Dwight Murray, Miami Fades began long before there were multiple locations or a recognizable name across the Provence. Dwight started cutting hair as a kid in Trinidad & Tobago, not for attention, but because he respected the craft. That early discipline shaped everything that would come later: precision, cleanliness, consistency, and the ability to make people feel seen the moment they sit in the chair.
Miami Fades was originally created to help fund Dwight’s aviation pilot training, but the mission grew into something bigger. What started as a way to support a dream became the foundation of a brand, built through resilience, reputation, and relentless commitment to excellence.
From the early days, Miami Fades faced challenges that would have ended most companies. We learned quickly that real legacy isn’t built when it’s easy, it’s built when you keep showing up, even when the road gets heavy. We rebuilt, we expanded, and we elevated the standard every step of the way.
Today, Miami Fades is recognized for premium grooming experiences across Toronto and beyond, known for precision fades, detailed beard work, elevated hospitality, and a culture that takes health & safety seriously. During the pandemic, our standards set a new bar for professionalism in the industry, proving that luxury means nothing without discipline, cleanliness, and trust.
